PlanetCAD Appoints New Chief Financial Officer; Joy Sullins Joins Company With Extensive Financial Experience in High-Tech and Public Companies

    BOULDER, Colo.--May 3, 2001--PlanetCAD Inc. (AMEX:PCD), the world's leading developer of Quality Data Management (QDM) solutions for the manufacturing supply chain, today announced the appointment of Joy Godesiabois Sullins as chief financial officer.
    Sullins brings 18 years of financial management experience with both public and private companies, including Intergraph Corp., Rodeer Systems, and Vroom Technologies.

    Sullins was most recently CFO and VP of Finance and Administration at Vroom Technologies Inc., a Denver-based software startup. Previously she served as CFO and VP of Finance and Administration at Rodeer Systems Inc., most notably handling the company's private equity funding and preparing the organization for its IPO. Sullins also served in several capacities for Intergraph Corporation , a developer of CAD and engineering software technologies. Positions with Intergraph included VP of Finance and Administration for the company's Veribest Inc. subsidiary, Director of Business Operations in the Electronics Software Division and in International Finance Reporting for the corporate headquarters. Sullins has an MBA and a BS in Business Administration, with a major in accounting.
