Washington, DC Metro Area to Visit a Branch for a Chance to
Win a 2001 Ford Mustang Convertible

investors in the Washington, DC metro area the chance to win a brand new 2001
Ford Mustang convertible in a sweepstakes promotion beginning today and
running through May 30th.
To enter, consumers must go to a participating TD Waterhouse branch in the
Washington, DC metro area by May 30th to fill out an entry form. For the
first four weeks, one lucky daily winner will be selected at random to win a
Garmin Personal Navigator Global Positioning System unit, and automatically
qualify as one of 29 finalists to win the convertible during a special drawing
at a TD Waterhouse branch on May 31st in the Washington, DC area. On that
date, finalists will pick a key at random and the finalist whose key starts
the car drives away the grand prize, a 2001 Ford Mustang.
Investors in the Washington, DC metro area who meet with a Customer
Relationship Officer at the participating branches (see list below) through
June 8th to learn about TD Waterhouse's investment products and services will
receive a complimentary Rand McNally Atlas. TD Waterhouse is offering
additional incentives for customers opening a new brokerage account at a
participating branch through the end of June. Subject to applicable terms and
conditions, incentives include:
-- A $100 cash credit for opening a brokerage account with $1,000;
-- 10,000 AOL AAdvantage(R) Miles for opening a brokerage account with
$10,000;

$50,000; and

throughout the promotion. Each day listeners will be asked to call-in to
these stations to play various TD Waterhouse-sponsored games, such as guessing
the daily close of the Nasdaq in the "Nasdaq Paybaq" contest, with prizes
including AOL AAdvantage(R) Miles. Half-page print advertisements for this
promotion will appear in the Washington Post.
On designated days, promotion agents representing TD Waterhouse will also
be positioned at high traffic areas surrounding the branches to distribute
flyers with details on the promotion and the accompanying sweepstakes.
