Kenworth Work Trucks Brochure Offers Key Information on Dump Trucks, Mixers,

KIRKLAND, Wash., May 2, 2001 - The Kenworth Work Trucks brochure offers
vocational truck operators key information on Kenworth dump trucks, mixers,
heavy haulers and loggers that help get the job done, no matter how tough
the task.

Kenworth heavy-duty custom trucks do everything from pulling 500 tons across
the scorching deserts of Saudi Arabia, hauling coal at air-starved altitudes
in the Andes Mountains of South America and operating on Alaska's frozen
North Slope. 

The 20-page, glossy color brochure details the range of Kenworth products
available for uses in these and other tough applications, including
construction, aggregate, rock and dirt, heavy hauling and logging.

The brochure provides vocational specification information for Kenworth's
W900B, W900L and W900S; T800, T800H, T800W, T800W Tridem, T800 Short Hood
and WorkCab; and C500, C500 Twin Steer and C500K models.

The brochure also covers Kenworth's extensive list of factory-installed
options. These options include front axles to 40,000 pounds and rear axles
to 120,000 pounds, pushers and tags, front drive axles, tandem front axles,
and tridem rear drives. Other key options include engines up to 700
horsepower, double-inserted frames, sheet metal hoods, brush guard and skid
plates for severe service, front and rear engine-mounted PTOs, and
transmission-mounted PTOs.
