CHUCK ETCHELLS & JIM EPLER TO APPEAR ON  NHRA HEAT & RPM2NIGHT THIS THURSDAY

Putnam, Connecticut, May 2, 2001 - Prior to hitting the race track for this 
weekend's Advance Auto Parts Southern Nationals, Etchells Racing teammates 
Chuck Etchells and Jim Epler will be riding the airwaves this Thursday, May 
3, as they will appear on two prominent motorsports television shows. 

Jim Epler will be the in-studio guest on Thursday's edition of RPM2Night.  
RPM2Night is ESPN's motorsports magazine show where host John Kernan keeps 
race fans up-to-date on the happenings in the world of motorsports.  The show 
is scheduled to air at 6:30 p.m. (Eastern) on ESPN2. 

Meanwhile, taped interviews with team owner Etchells are scheduled to appear 
on Thursday's airing of NHRA Heat as well as on RPM2Night.  NHRA Heat is a 
weekly show hosted by Bill Stephens that is dedicated to the sport of NHRA 
Drag Racing.  This week's show will be seen on ESPN2 at 6:00 p.m. (Eastern) 
just prior to RPM2Night.

Etchells and Epler will be discussing the team's new sponsorship with Sunoco, 
Inc., as well as previewing this weekend's race in Atlanta.  In addition, the 
two veteran drivers will review their unusual arrangement in which they have 
temporarily swapped rides, with Epler piloting the Sunoco/Matco Tools Camaro 
Z28 this weekend while Chuck Etchells will see limited action in the Racing 
Champions/Matco Tools Camaro, which will feature a Mötley Crüe paint scheme 
in Atlanta.
