Herta at Nazareth: The 2001 Lehigh Valley Grand Prix will mark Herta's sixth Champ Car start at Nazareth Speedway. Herta made his inaugural start at the 1995 event, where he qualified 11th and finished 23rd. Herta's best qualifying result at Nazareth came in 1998, when he started seventh. Herta's top Nazareth race result was in 1997; he finished seventh.

Moving Forward: As a result of vigorous practice, determination and teamwork, the Zakspeed/Forsythe crew is moving forward in the Craftsman Pit Crew Challenge point standings. After two successful stops in Long Beach, the team moved from 12th (Mexico) to ninth in the post-race standings.

Top Ten Debut: A rookie team in the 2001 CART FedEx Series, Zakspeed/Forsythe Racing earned their first top-ten finish in just their second race. Herta finished tenth at the Long Beach Grand Prix, earning three championship points. Herta and his crew went on to qualify an impressive fourth in Texas, the team's inaugural oval effort.

Herta on Nazareth: "I can’t wait to get to Nazareth and go racing again, I have not actually raced on an oval since 1999 at Fontana. Texas was my team's first oval event together, and even though we didn’t race, I am very optimistic because we qualified well and my car was good all weekend. We spent several days testing at Phoenix and Homestead during the winter and for the most part, the oval tests went well. Last weekend sort of reassured our efforts, so I am optimistic for a good weekend in Nazareth."
