Company Resolve Name Dispute Over the Model E

SAN FRANCISCO, May 2 Build-To-Order, Incorporated ("BTO")
and Ford Motor Company today announced an amicable settlement to a
trademark infringement lawsuit filed by Ford against Model E Corporation in
the District Court of Northern California.
"As a former Ford Motor Company executive, I am looking forward to the
opportunity to work together with Ford for our mutual benefit," said
William Santana Li, founder and former CEO of Model E Corporation. Under the
terms of the settlement agreement, Model E has agreed to transfer its rights
in the Model E mark and domain names to Ford. In settling this suit, Ford
recognizes that Model E brings a number of innovative and exciting concepts to
the automotive industry. Ford will explore the potential that Model E -- and
now BTO -- offers as Ford continues to strive to bring true innovation to the
automotive sector.
