ADP Announces Technology and Business Agreement with Advent Resources
CHICAGO--May 2, 2001--The Dealer Services Group of Automatic Data Processing, Inc. is pleased to announce they have signed a technology and business agreement with Advent Resources Inc. This agreement will certify Advent as a member of ADP's Application Programming Interface (API) Program. ADP(R) clients can now enjoy the benefits of Advent's F&I system, using an ADP authorized bi-directional interface.ADP's API Program allows selected partners the ability to interface to the ADP Elite system through ADP's robust interface library. Prospective program participants go through a rigorous qualification process before being certified to utilize the interface library.
"We have been an Advent and ADP client for almost 5 years and in our opinion, the Advent F&I System has made a significant contribution to the efficiency and profitability of our dealership. We depend on the Advent system for the vehicle sales department just as we do on the ADP system for fixed operations and accounting and data processing. There are over 20 new and planned information points between the 2 systems. Dealers can pass information to and from the ADP dealer management system with Advent's F&I software. The sales manager now has all the necessary information to make the best decision on a deal, enhancing the ability to not only close the deal, but to do so at the optimal profit.
