Jeff Green On Richmond: Jeff Green, 2000 NASCAR Busch Series Champion and driver of the No. 10 Nestlé Nesquik Ford Taurus, is the defending pole and race winner at Richmond International Raceway for the upcoming Hardee's 250.
"If I had to rank all the tracks we race on each year, Richmond would definitely be at the top of the list," said Green. "I like it especially because although it is a short track, you can run two or three wide, which makes it fun to race. It also doesn't hurt that I have run well there, so that makes a track rank high in a driver's book as well."
Night Races: This weekend's event at RIR will be the first night race of the season in 2001. In 2000, the Busch Series held seven night races and Green won three poles and three events. All of the night races, except for one, run in 2000 were held on tracks smaller than one mile, just like RIR. Take a look at the stellar results Green and the Nesquik Racing Team posted at night races in 2000.
