Daewoo's April Sales Above Industry Average

    COMPTON, Calif., May 1 "Daewoo's April retail sales of
5011 units enabled the company to increase its market share by 0.1%, beating
industry average," stated D.J. Lee, President and CEO of Daewoo Motor America.
Lee went on to say, "Even with the difficulties we have experienced in these
first few months, our dealers and customers are confident in our products and
the continued growth of the company."
