FinishMaster Announces Acquisition of Badger Paint Plus, Inc.

    INDIANAPOLIS--May 1, 2001--FinishMaster, Inc., announced effective May 7, 2001, the acquisition of Badger Paint Plus, Inc. Headquartered in Fridley, Minnesota, Badger consists of six locations in three states. The three locations in Minnesota will provide a new hub for future growth, while the two locations in Chicago and one in Milwaukee will increase our market share in these existing markets. With annual revenues of approximately $10 million, Badger Paint Plus, Inc. is FinishMaster's largest acquisition since 1998.
