REMINDER/NEOSA Event Features ECom-Ohio Director Presenting Auto Supplier B2B Practices Survey Results
CLEVELAND--May 1, 2001--A new study from ECom-Ohio, a non-profit organization whose mission is to accelerate the rate of e-commerce adoption in the state of Ohio, offers a revealing glimpse of the extent of technology adoption in the automotive supply chain sector of Ohio's industry. Results from the survey include compelling evidence that many automotive suppliers need to accelerate their adoption of e-business practices to remain competitive."Right now, Tier 2 and Tier 3 automotive suppliers with eCommerce capabilities have a competitive advantage," says Pari Sabety, Director of ECom-Ohio. "Within two years, it will no longer be a competitive advantage but a matter of survival."
NEOSA, the Greater Cleveland Growth Association and CAMP, Inc, have invited Sabety to speak to both the automotive companies represented in the study and the technology vendors for this market. Information technology companies that are ready and able to provide the technology solutions to the automotive companies will get a snapshot of the industry that represents a major marketing opportunity in Northeast Ohio. The automotive parts manufacturers and supply companies can benchmark their own technology usage and practices and gain insight into the benefits of technology adoption.
NEOSA, under the direction of President James Cookinham, was established in 1998. NEOSA's mission is to foster an environment that will encourage the growth and development of our area's information technology-based companies to compete in a global market.
