Subject: John Barker joins SARA Series


TAMPA, FLA. - Rick Day, SARA Series President, announced Monday that he has  
added John Barker of Lakeland, Fla., as Media Coordinator for its Executive 
Racing School Late Model and Bearden Oil Open-Wheel Modified racing programs.

Barker is a 14-year veteran Motorsports Correspondent for the Ledger, a  N.Y. 
Times Company located in Lakeland, Fla.. He's also President of Left Turn 
Communications, a Motorsports Marketing company.

"Having John (Barker) come on board is a real plus for SARA and he will team 
up with SARA Webmaster and series announcer Scott Hawkins," said Day.

Barker will also take an active role in securing contingency sponsorship for
