Land Rover Takes Frisco, TX. for a 'Ride on the Wild Side'

    FRISCO, Texas, April 30 Land Rover North America president
and CEO Howard I. Mosher, along with the Land Rover Frisco retail staff and
Dallas event planner Cynthia Cathcart, are taking the Dallas area for a "Ride
on the Wild Side" with the grand opening of Land Rover Frisco, one of the
newest Land Rover Centres in the U.S.  Land Rover Frisco's grand opening
celebration will take place in the new retailer's 26,000 square foot showroom
-- currently the largest Land Rover showroom in the U.S. -- this Wednesday,
May 2, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.  The new retailer is located at 5935 Preston
Road in Frisco, TX.

    The celebration will feature four Land Rovers decorated for various "Wild
Rides," including a tailgate party for the Stars, a tailgate party for the
Mavericks, the "Survivor" SUV and a Kentucky Derby day trip.

    Cynthia Cathcart has also arranged for wild animals to attend the opening,
including two boas, a python, a camel, a macaw and a monkey.  Wild meats such
as boar, venison and buffalo will also be served.  A five-piece band, a
moonwalk and a kids' table will provide entertainment.

    The event will be co-hosted by Jim Snell, dealer principal of the Land
Rover Frisco, Land Rover Dallas and Land Rover Austin retail outlets; Randy
Brown, Centre manager of Land Rover Frisco; and Dallas-based event planner
Cynthia Cathcart.  The evening's special guest is Howard I. Mosher, president
and CEO, Land Rover North America, Inc.
