Six Automotive Suppliers Choose Synapz's Eclipz for EDI

NORTHVILLE, Mich., April 30 Further strengthening its
position as a leading e-commerce solution provider, Synapz has recently landed
several new contracts to provide its Eclipz product to six automotive
suppliers and their thousands of sub-tier suppliers.
In addition to the company's current customer base, Eclipz -- a Web-based
materials procurement and fulfillment system -- will be utilized by Acadia
Polymers, AMAK Brake, KSR International, NEWCOR, Inc., SEI Brakes Inc. and
TRAM, Inc.
"These contracts further validate our position in the automotive
marketplace as a leading provider of low-cost e-commerce solutions," said
Robert C. Paul, president and COO of Synapz. "EDI, a technology that was once
too costly and complex to implement, is now cost effective and easy to use
through Eclipz. Customers also gain a demonstrated return on investment in
less than 90 days."
Eclipz allows a supplier to receive orders, confirm shipments and send
orders to suppliers via the Internet directly from the customers' procurement
system, inventory system or shop floor system. It revolutionizes the
extremely complex process of data exchange and order fulfillment for
automotive suppliers. Eclipz allows companies to gain a competitive advantage
by decreasing or eliminating inventory carrying costs and reducing premium
shipping costs.
It also offers a number of integrated applications from best-of-breed
providers to increase the value and functionality of the product for the
automotive market. These value-added applications include bar coding, quality
management and engineering systems.
