on Employee Laptop Computers in North America

Mobile Automation Inc., a leading provider of management solutions for mobile computing and handheld devices, Monday announced the successful deployment of its Mobile Automation 2000 (MA2000) software at Ford Motor Co. .
This implementation will enable Ford's customer service operations to rapidly deploy software programs and updates to its remote and mobile workforce throughout North America.
MA2000 will assist their help desk in resolving problems for all mobile systems and automatically replace improperly modified files with the correct version. It will also allow Ford to easily and swiftly obtain valuable hardware and software asset information.
"We are thrilled that Ford has selected us to provide them with the right tools to gather asset inventory data on demand, and to replace their distribution of application software updates on CDs with our Web-based distribution tools," said Douglas Neal, president and chief executive officer of Mobile Automation Inc.
"Ford will be able to recognize immediate benefits in the significant reduction of time in performing software distribution, and also in eliminating the laborious task of gathering hardware and software inventory information during company audits."
In selecting Mobile Automation to satisfy their mobile device management requirements, Ford has joined a growing list of Fortune 500 firms that have chosen the MA2000 product.
"Mobile Automation is committed to providing large enterprises with the management tools that will be increasingly needed, as the number of remote and mobile workers grows significantly over the next few years," added Neal.
