Thrifty Car Rental Customers Earn Miles With Northwest Airlines(R) WorldPerks(R)

    TULSA, Okla., April 30 Beginning May 1, 2001, Northwest
Airlines(R) WorldPerks(R) members who rent from Thrifty Car Rental can earn
WorldPerks miles on qualifying rentals.
    WorldPerks members will be awarded 250 miles per transaction for rentals
of seven days or less and 500 miles for rentals of eight days or more.  The
offer is good at Thrifty locations around the world.
    Members may also earn 250 miles by parking at the same U.S. Thrifty
Airport Parking location three times within a twelve-month period.
    WorldPerks members must present their membership card at the time of
rental to receive mileage credit.  Customers may also enter their WorldPerks
number in the appropriate field if renting through THRIFTY.com or provide
their WorldPerks number to a Thrifty customer service agent when making a
reservation through 1-800-THRIFTY.  This assists in properly crediting the
customers' WorldPerks account with the appropriate mileage award.
    Thrifty currently serves more than 165 airports in the U.S. with 86 rental
counters located in-terminal including San Francisco, Los Angeles, Dallas/Fort
Worth, Denver, Pittsburgh and Atlanta.
