"I am really sorry to disappoint the CART fans in Texas and beyond. I hope that everyone understands that all of the teams, drivers, manufacturers, suppliers and CART officials, exhausted every possible option to compete today, and I am proud to have been part of the process to try to figure out a way to do that. The results of the extreme g-force loading is a whole new area for us, and safety has to be CART's #1 priority, I support this decision. I also look forward to finding a solution to be able to come back and perform for our fans because they deserve it. Texas Motor Speedway is an incredible facility and I look forward to racing here, once a solution has been developed. My guys worked hard and they did their job well, qualifying fourth was a big accomplishment for our team."
