Teleflex Increases Dividend 13 Percent; Twenty-Four Consecutive Years of Increases

    PLYMOUTH MEETING, Pa.--April 27, 2001--Teleflex Incorporated announced today that its Board of Directors had declared an increase in the quarterly cash dividend from fifteen cents ($0.15) per share to seventeen cents ($0.17) per share of common stock. This dividend is payable June 15, 2001 to shareholders of record at the close of business on May 25, 2001. The new annual rate of 68 cents per share is an increase of 13 percent over the previous rate.
