AVeL-TECH Will Provide the Government of the Province of Cordoba, Argentina With an Automatic Vehicle Location System

    MONTREAL--April 27, 2001--AVeL-TECH has signed a contract with Motorola Argentina Inc. to supply an Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL) system for the government of the Province of Cordoba, Argentina.
    The AVL system, which will include 22 AVeL-NET(TM) workstation licenses and a RadioGATE(TM) message switch, will cover a fleet of 650 public safety vehicles including police, fire and EMS vehicles for the metropolitan area of Cordoba over a wide area network.
    The AVeL-NET(TM) system will be interfaced to Positron 9-1-1 system and Motorola Data-TAC network.
