The Peabody Orlando Ducks Welcome Hertz Rent-A-Car With the Red Carpet Treatment

    ORLANDO, Fla.--April 26, 2001--The Peabody Orlando Ducks have rolled out their red carpet to welcome The Hertz Corporation, the world's largest car rental company, to their hotel. As part of The Hertz Corporation's expansion of its off-airport car rental locations, it has just moved into the "finest hotel in Orlando," The Peabody Orlando, the luxury, 891-room, convention/resort hotel on International Drive, directly opposite the main entrance to the 1.5-million sq. ft. (soon-to-be 3-million sq. ft.) Orange County Convention Center.
    Hertz now operates from the luxurious Peabody and provides a complete range of vehicles including Jaguar, Volvo, Lincoln LS, SUVs such as Eddie Bauer Explorer, and convertibles, subject to availability.

"Our hotel is open for business 24/7 and it makes sense that we have a car rental service that is available to our guests seven days a week, too."
