J.B. Hunt and Georgia-Pacific Renew Four Contracts for Dedicated Services
LOWELL, Ark.--April 26, 2001--J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc., one of the largest transportation logistics companies in North America, announces today the renewal of four dedicated contracts with long-time customer and packaging-industry leader Georgia-Pacific.The multi-year contracts continue J.B. Hunt's dedicated fleet services at four Georgia-Pacific converting plants across North America. J.B. Hunt delivers corrugated boxes and sheets to Georgia-Pacific customers in each region. The two companies have worked together since 1992.

J.B. Hunt's first contract with Georgia-Pacific originated in Doraville, Georgia, eight years ago. The transportation company was hired to assist that plant with dedicated services to help reduce overall transportation costs. Today J.B. Hunt provides dedicated transportation solutions at 11 locations for Georgia-Pacific's packaging division and consumer products division.
