ADVISORY/Florida Plastics Employees Complete Innovative Training

    --

    Program Details:

Across Florida, more than 300 employees, representing more than 40 companies, are completing an innovative training program presented by the Society of the Plastics Industry (SPI), in cooperation with Enterprise Florida, Inc. and Workforce Florida, Inc. Employees are training for National Certification in Plastics in injection molding through live, interactive sessions transmitted via a satellite link to colleges and companies around the state.
In St. Petersburg, Precise Technology Inc. is training more than 60 of their own and nearby employees at their plant. Plant Manager David Outlaw installed the satellite and renovated his training facilities to accommodate the class. He has seen his staff not only learn more about injection molding, but has witnessed an increase in productivity and enthusiasm among employees.
A detailed story about the program and Precise Technology's involvement in the SPI / Florida training program is available in Word format at http://lmgcomm.net/pdf/index.htm.
