Consulier Engineering Reports Win of Insurance Suit in Summary Judgment
RIVIERA BEACH, Fla.--April 23, 2001--Consulier Engineering, Inc. of Riviera Beach, Florida reported their wholly owned subsidiary, Southeast Automotive Acquisition Corporation, received a favorable ruling on its Motion for Summary Declaratory Judgment against American States Insurance Company, and is now proceeding to discussions of the actual amount of the claim to be paid.Southeast Automotive had claimed losses of approximately $2 million after its inventory of CRA-Z Soap(TM) and automotive parts which were rendered unsaleable due to water damage caused by Hurricane Irene in 1999. "Our claims are more than justified" said Attorney Alan Simon, also a director of CSLR. "We hope to reach an agreement with the insurance company on the final amount in short order, now that the Judge has ruled that our inventory was indeed insured under our insurance policy."
First quarter 2001 contracted sales were just under $100,000 as distribution of the replacement inventory of hand and all purpose cleaner got underway, including a recently announced strategic alliance with Veridien Corp. (OTCBB: VRDE). The company expects to achieve sales of $100,000 per month later this year.
