Lear Corporation Appoints Vickie V. Bostic
Vice President - Six Sigma
SOUTHFIELD, Mich., April 17 Lear Corporation
today announced the appointment of Vickie V. Bostic to Vice President - Six
Sigma, reporting to Douglas G. DelGrosso, Senior Vice President - Product
Focus Group.

As Vice President - Six Sigma, Bostic will be responsible for Lear's
global Six Sigma deployment and management activities worldwide.
Bostic joined Lear in 1994 from General Motors as an Engineering Manager
at Lear's former Fairhaven, Mich. facility. She has held positions of
increasing responsibility such as Program Manager, Advanced Manufacturing
Engineering Manager, Engineering and Technical Services Manager, and Director
of Program Management for the North American Joint Ventures Division. Most
recently she was Director and Deployment Champion for Six Sigma in the North
American Joint Ventures Division in April 2000.
Bostic earned an Associate's degree in Statistics from Baker Community
College in Flint, Mich., a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from
Kettering University in Flint, Mich., and a Master's degree in Manufacturing
Management from Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant, Mich.
Originally from Rochester, New York, Vickie currently resides in Oak Park,
Mich.
