Reader's Choice All-Stars Awards Announced
18 Cars and Trucks, 14 Categories, 10 Thrilled Automakers
NEW YORK, April 18 AUTOMOBILE MAGAZINE, a PRIMEDIA
publication, announced the winners of its coveted Readers' Choice All-Stars
Awards at the 2001 New York International Automobile Show in Manhattan's
Jacob K. Javits Center in New York.
The 18 winning vehicles were chosen by more than 5,000 AUTOMOBILE MAGAZINE
readers who made their best-in-class selections from over 200 production cars
and trucks.
"Reaching out to thousands of car enthusiasts for their thoughts and
opinions is the best way for auto manufacturers to gauge how good their cars
really are," said AUTOMOBILE MAGAZINE's editor-in-chief Jean Jennings. "The
survey is the most comprehensive in the business, and our readers represent a
broad cross-section of the car-buying public. That's what makes this award so
important and stimulating."
