Robert Walter Vice President of the 'Generation of
Hydrogen' Project
VANCOUVER, British Columbia, April 18 Reg Technologies,
Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: REGRF; CDNX: RRE.V) and its U.S. subsidiary REGI
U.S., Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: RGUS) wish to announce that Robert Walter has
been appointed Vice President of the "Generation of Hydrogen" patent
application project, which was recently acquired by the Company from Dr.
George Magaha (the inventor). See news release dated February 27, 2001
regarding details of patent application.
Mr. Walter brings with him extensive expertise in the hydrogen field. As
a former engineer at Boeing for their Rocketdyne Division from December 1960
to September 1999, Mr. Walter dedicated a large portion of his work with
hydrogen compatibility with metals as associated with rocket engine
components. Mr. Walter also worked on advanced hydrogen storage concepts that
were communicated to the U.S. Department of Energy and he authored 36
literature publications, 10 patents and received 5 NASA tech brief awards on
hydrogen. Mr. Walter will be mainly responsible for research and testing the
Generation of Hydrogen technology for use in fuel cells.
Dr. George Magaha states "Hydrogen will be suitable for everything from
the operation of automobiles, buses, airplanes, to even space shuttle
propulsions which requires fuel that is low weight, clean, compact and with a
high energy content."

Reg Technologies, Inc. jointly owns the worldwide rights to the Rand
Cam(TM) rotary technology with its U.S. subsidiary REGI U.S., Inc. and is
currently incorporating its latest winged rotor technology to dramatically
improve sealing and reduce friction in the diesel Rand Cam(TM) engine. The
Company is designing an oil pump for automobile transmissions for one of the
big three car manufacturers in Detroit, as well as an air pump for the lumbar
seats in automobiles and has filed for a patent for a Hydrogen Separator
Technology. According to the patent application the "Generation of Hydrogen"
requires no heating or electrical energy and thereby conserves energy.
The Company's goal is to license the technology and/or to participate in
joint ventures to manufacture specific Rand Cam(TM) applications and the
Hydrogen Separator Technology.
