Sika Automotive Appoints Tom Fitzgerald Key Account Manager for DaimlerChrysler Account

    MADISON HEIGHTS, Mich., April 18 Sika Automotive has
announced the appointment of Tom Fitzgerald to assume the position of Key
Account Manager for the DaimlerChrysler account.  He will report to John
Harris, VP Sales.
    Mr. Fitzgerald brings with him more than a dozen years of progressive
experience in Finance, Sales, and Program Management with TI Group Automotive
Systems and United Technologies.  His focus will be the commercial issues and
growth opportunities with Sika Automotive's largest customer.
    Mr. Fitzgerald holds a BSBA from Wayne State University and an MBA from
the University of Detroit.
    Sika Automotive, which produces approximately 30% of the baffles used in
North American vehicles to reduce noise and vibration characteristics, has
been involved with several DaimlerChrysler vehicles including the RS Minivan
and the PT Cruiser.  Sika's engineers worked on the PT Cruiser development
from the start and consequently there is more Sika content on the PT Cruiser
than Sika had previously supplied on any other vehicle.
