Larry Curtis Is Filter Manufacturers Council Chairman

Research Triangle Park, N.C. - Larry Curtis, vice president-aftermarket sales, ArvinMeritor Light Vehicle Aftermarket-Purolator, is the newly elected chairman of the Filter Manufacturers Council (FMC).

FMC, a product group of the Motor & Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA), marks its 30th anniversary this year. Founded in 1971, FMC represents manufacturers of vehicular and industrial filtration products.

Founded in 1904, MEMA exclusively represents and serves more than 700 North American manufacturers of motor vehicle components, tools and equipment, automotive chemical and related products used in the production, repair and maintenance of all classes of motor vehicles.
