WTA Announces Receipt of Royalty Payments

SANTEE, Calif.--April 19, 2001--World Transport Authority, Inc. (OTCBB:WTAI) (Frankfurt:920943). World Transport Authority, Inc. (WTA) announced today that it has received its first royalty payments upon the production and sale of WorldStar utility vehicles in developing nations.
In the month of March 2001, WTA received royalties from CBN WorldStar, Inc. (CBN) and WorldStar Andino (Andino). These payments mark the beginning of cash flow to WTA under their marketing plan.
CBN is the Master License Holder for the Philippines, and manufactures WorldStar vehicles, usually in the pick-up truck style, as a cooperative on the former Clark Air Force Base in the Philippines. Andino is WTA's Master Licensee for Colombia. Andino's sub-licensee, WorldStar Paez, recently announced a sizable fleet sale to Colombian cold-meats group Suiza, and is manufacturing WorldStar vehicles, particularly refrigerated delivery vans, in Cali, Colombia.
The Philippines and Colombia factories are the first WorldStar manufacturing plants in operation. These payments represent the first royalty payments in World Transport Authority, Inc.'s history, and are a sign that WTA, after several years of research and development and one year of implementation of their marketing plan, can now concentrate on greatly expanding the number of WorldStar manufacturing plants in operation.
