NASCAR WCUP: Kenseth gaining momentum heading to Talladega

"Finishing 6th at Martinsville gave us the momentum we need to get this program back to where we should be -- running up front. We've had so many freak things happen to us this year that were beyond our control. We were running good in Daytona and a shock mount broke. We were great in Atlanta and had a mechanical failure. Then at Darlington and Texas we had accidents. This team has been capable of running up front every week. Last year we had a top 10 at Talladega. Its anyone's race with the rules package. A lot of people are concerned about safety again, but I think it will be all right. Roush Racing is committed to safety."--Matt Kenseth

Crew Chief Robbie Reiser's thoughts on Talladega:

"That finish in Martinsville was great. It shows what this team is made of. We're ready to go to Talladega and keep it going."

Notes of Interest:

Qualifying is set for the Winston Cup Series on Friday, April 20th at 4:00 p.m. EST. The green flag will wave at 1:00 p.m. EST Sunday, April 22nd to start the Talladega 500.
