Viasystems EMS-Harness Division Acknowledged as a Top Supplier By GE Appliances

    ST. LOUIS--April 17, 2001--Viasystems Group, Inc. announced today that, based on their fourth quarter performance in 2000, their Harness Division in Mishawaka, Indiana had been acknowledged by GE Appliances to be among their top five suppliers to Bloomington Parts Operation (BPO).

    GE's Supplier Recognition/Improvement Board is comprised of a cross-functional team that elects their top five suppliers through a judgement process based on supplier cost reductions, delivery, quality and total customer satisfaction.
