FAYETTEVILLE, GA – United Speed Alliance Racing has issued defending Series champion Bobby Gill a $2,000 fine, loss of 100 championship points, and suspension, waived in favor of probation, for the remainder of the year for a post-race altercation involving Gill and a USAR official at Ace Speedway Friday night.

The penalty was issued pursuant to USAR rules section VIII, part B, paragraph 1.d. which states: Any member who assaults or threatens to do bodily harm to any USAR official or persons serving under their direction a minimum fine of $500, suspension and/or loss of championship points.
