emailSYNC Announces 100 Most Responsive Online Dealerships

[Detroit, April 10, 2001] emailSYNC, a New York-based e-mail technology company, announces the results of the first Inbox Challenge at the eAutoWorld conference.

The Inbox Challenge, launched at NADA 2001, rated dealership online responsiveness. 5 anonymous test e-mails were sent to each of 3,400 dealers nationwide. Their replies were individually graded by emailSYNC staff based on the criteria of timeliness and quality of the response. The Challenge began on March 6th and concluded on April 5th.

The Challenge results show that many dealerships are dropping the ball when it comes to handling online customers. "Surprisingly, only about 50% of our tests received replies," explains Greg Narain, CEO of emailSYNC. "Furthermore, of the dealers who did reply, 25% took more than three days to respond."
