WHO:    AAA of Northern California

WHAT:   To commemorate Earth Day, April 22, AAA is launching the first 
        annual "AAA Great Battery Roundup," a weeklong nationwide
        community effort to recycle hazardous old car and boat 
        batteries. AAA is donating up to $4 per battery to The Nature 
        Conservancy of California.

WHEN:   Monday, April 16 through Sunday, April 22 (Earth Day)
        The public is encouraged to bring in old batteries to selected 
        AAA sites for recycling.

WHERE:  AAA Car Care Plus Auto Repair Facility
        49 Bicentennial Circle, Sacramento, 
        (one block east of Power Inn Road/Folsom Blvd.)

        the U.S.
