ARCA RE/MAX: Frank Kimmel wins Old Milwaukee Pole Award at Nashville Superspeedway

LEBANON, TENN- Defending ARCA RE/MAX Series champion Frank Kimmel, in the Advance Auto Parts-Pork White Meat Ford, won the Old Milwaukee Pole Award here Thursday at the new Nashville Superspeedway with a speed of 151.453 mph.

The popular Jeffersonville, Indiana driver will lead the field to green Friday afternoon for the inaugural race (4 PM CST start time) at the 1.33-mile concrete oval ahead of outside polesitter Mike Swaim Jr who qualified at 150.986. Stanton Barrett, in his career-first RE/MAX Series start, qualified third at 150.235 with Laurel, Mississippi driver Robert Burroughs trailing in fourth at 149.883. RE/MAX Series rookie Jason Jarrett, in the ML Motorsports Pontiac, completed the top-five at 149.458.
