Roadway Express Named Quality Carrier by Department of Defense

    AKRON, Ohio--April 12, 2001--Roadway Express, Inc. was selected to receive the "Military Traffic Management Command (MTMC) Quality Award" for the Company's outstanding service to the Department of Defense (DOD) during 2000. Major General Privratsky, Commander, MTMC, presented the prestigious award to Vice President of Operations for Roadway, John Bronneck at the MTMC Training Symposium in Dallas, TX., on April 11, 2001.
