BOBBY LABONTE, NO. 18 INTERSTATE BATTERIES PONTIAC GRAND PRIX:

"We're not disappointed at all. We had a pretty good car, but it's just so hard to pass. If we could have had some track position a couple of time we might have done a little bit better because we could run some good lap times. We just couldn't pass anybody. We were a little bit too loose on exits there all day long and couldn't get enough forward bite out of it. But, that caution there at the end helped up out. We came in and got tires because of track position - we needed it. We got track position and finished right behind Tony [Stewart], which was good for all of us on this Interstate Batteries Pontiac team.

"We didn't have the best car, but we didn't have that bad a car, either. Nowadays you can finish 15th and have a pretty good car."

(ON FEELING THE EFFECTS OF THE HEAT TODAY) "That car just seems like it's real hot. It was blowing a lot of hot air from the oil tank. I felt worse at lap 200 than I did at the end. It was just one of those deals where starting race off it just got real hot, so we just needed to fix that. Once we did it was OK."
