BOBBY LABONTE, NO. 18 INTERSTATE BATTERIES PONTIAC GRAND PRIX:

"The car got a little bit loose in qualifying, which is different. I really didn't expect it to get too loose, but it did. I spun the tires too much."

(ON THE WIDER PIT ROAD FOR SUNDAY'S RACE) "I hope it's better. I think it will be. I haven't really paid too much attention to it yet, but I think it will make things a little bit better for everybody."
