TONY STEWART, NO. 20 HOME DEPOT PONTIAC GRAND PRIX:
(ON HIS RUN) "That was a decent lap. It wasn't what I was hoping for, but normally when we've been here it has either been feast or famine. We've either been on the pole or dead-last, so we'll take it."
(WILL THE WIDER PIT ROAD BE A HELP ON SUNDAY?) "It will help, except for the guy on the pole. It used to be a big advantage to be on the pole, but it's not going to help a lot now."
