LiveListings Enhances Service With Anonymous Information Tool; New Features Allow Buyers and Sellers Increased Interaction Before Deal is Made

SEATTLE--April 6, 2001--Targeting specific customer needs, LiveListings introduces the first in an aggressive series of releases focused on making it increasingly easier to conduct business on the LiveListings exchange.
Listing Q&A(TM) ensures that members have all the information they need to complete a transaction by allowing them to exchange information anonymously during the negotiation process. Clone Listings(TM) makes it easy for members to quickly post a large number of inventory items through a proprietary automated system.
Released just two months after initial launch, the enhanced service makes LiveListings an even stronger value proposition for customers in the truck, automotive and industrial parts markets. While not inclusive of all the features added, these new services highlight the real world issues LiveListings solves for its members.
"With over 500 customers already registered in just our first two months of operations, we are constantly learning from our members. We understand that LiveListings needs to make members feel comfortable when conducting business on our site," said Brian Kadish, vice president of marketing at LiveListings. "Just like when they get on the phone to negotiate a deal, they need to have a similar level of trust when using our site."
LiveListings has focused on adding services that increase members' ability to effectively buy and sell on the Internet as a significant procurement channel. As part of an initiative to make buying and selling more efficient on the Internet, LiveListings has augmented its service with unique features like Listing Q&A and Clone Listings, based on member feedback and extensive management experience in the automotive and truck aftermarket.
