Friday Practice Session One Notes

- No. 19 JW Urlin replaced his gearbox last night prior to this morning’s session.

- No. 8 Niki Coello, No. 22 Enzo Potolicchio changed engines last night prior to this morning’s session.

- No. 28 Mike Lewis will not run the session as the team works on the car’s set-up.

- No. 7 Vannina Ickx replaced a clutch prior to the morning session.

- The morning practice session was halted early on after numerous cars went off course and put dirt and gravel on the track. After a five minute clean up the session resumed.

- At the halfway mark the top-three were No. 89 Jason LaPoint, No. 6 Tonis Kasemets and No. 5 Arie Luyendyk Jr.

- No. 69 Billy Asaro has fluid leak in the pitlane.

- No. 7 spun late in the session and was stranded in the gravel trap, bringingout a full-course caution. The session resumed after the car extricated with no damage.

- The session ends after No. 18 Alexander goes off-course and becomes stranded.

- At the end of the session the top-six cars all went quicker then the fastest time posted during the winter test in January on the 1.4-mile modified oval course.

- No. 12 Tommy Constantine transponder wasn’t working, but was running in the top-six posting times in the 44.25 second range.
