Myers Industries to List On New York Stock Exchange
AKRON, Ohio--April 5, 2001--Myers Industries, Inc. (AMEX:MYE) announced today that it has applied to list the Company's stock on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). Myers expects that its shares will commence trading on the NYSE on May 1, 2001. The Company has approximately 21.6 million shares of common stock outstanding that are currently traded on the American Stock Exchange (AMEX) under the symbol "MYE," which will be retained. Until the changeover, Myers shares will continue to be traded on the AMEX.Stephen E.
