Miami Dealer Sells First Isuzu Axiom: Midway Isuzu Retails Isuzu's Newest Model

    CERRITOS, Calif., April 3 American Isuzu Motors Inc. today
announced the first retail sale of a 2002 Isuzu Axiom.  The Axiom is the first
new vehicle introduced by Isuzu in the United States since 1998.
    Miami residents Jose Luis and Miralis Agra purchased a stunning Anthracite
gray Axiom from sales consultant Francisco Fonseca, Midway Isuzu in Miami.
This is the couple's second Isuzu sport utility vehicle.
   Fonseca has worked at Midway Isuzu since June 1994, and plans are in the
works at the dealership to recognize his historic sale with a dealership
celebration.
    "This sale undoubtedly indicates that the American motorists are seeking

    Since its introduction last November, awards and admiration have followed
the Axiom.  Most notably, Axiom was credited with the "Eyes on Design" award
for production SUVs given at the 2001 North American International Auto Show
