WTA Announces Move to New Headquarters

SANTEE, Calif.--April 2, 2001--World Transport Authority Inc. (OTCBB:WTAI)(Frankfurt: 920943) (WTA) Monday announced that it has moved its headquarters to Santee, Calif.
The new facility is approximately five miles Northeast of the prior WTA headquarters in El Cajon, Calif.
The office building is in a mixed commercial/industrial park adjacent to the local airport at Gillespie Field. The new site is approximately 4,800 square feet, and holds nine offices, two mixed-unit spaces, and a showroom. The mailing address of the new facility is 8402 N. Magnolia Avenue, Santee, Calif. 92071. The new phone number is 619/258-2858. The new facsimile number is 619/258-2857.
Lyle Wardrop, CEO and president, stated: "We are excited about moving into our new facility. We have simultaneously transferred our continuing research and development activities to our Philippines facility, under the control of our Chief Technical Officer John Tidy. These two moves will allow us to increase the efficiency and productivity of our staff and provide better marketing communications, both internally and with our licensees and investors."
Investor Relations Manager Michael Keller stated: "The move was accomplished on March 31, 2001, although the staff continues to unpack into the new offices. WTA encourages the public to visit its new headquarters at any time. A formal Open House is being planned for early May 2001."
WTA's founders identified the need for an inexpensive, rugged utility vehicle for developing nations around the world. WTA designed a vehicle it believes is capable of the same favorable economic impact on developing nations as the Ford Model T had for the United States, and the Volkswagen Beetle had for Europe.
