Jeffrey Riggs Joins Webraska as American Automotive Sales Director

    DETROIT, April 2 Webraska, the worldwide provider of
wireless navigation services and technologies, announced the appointment of
Jeffrey A. Riggs to the position of Automotive Sales Director for North
America.  Riggs, formerly an OEM sales manager for both Alpine Electronics and
Code-Alarm, will be responsible for the development and implementation of
Webraska's wireless navigation technology with automobile manufacturers and
first-tier suppliers throughout North America.
    Riggs joins Webraska coming from a 19-year background in sales and
engineering management with a variety of top electronics and engineering
companies that market to the automotive industry.  He has directed program
management for major OEM accounts for these firms, and has extensive
experience in contract negotiations, product development and engineering
compliance with customer quality control requirements.  In addition, he has
implemented both OEM and retail sales and marketing programs for electronic
products, including benchmarking, advertising, pricing and special promotions.
    In his new position at Webraska, Riggs will be based in Detroit and work
closely with the Webraska's automotive customers and platform groups, mapping
out distinct programs for the implementation of Webraska global navigation
technology in OEM vehicle lines.  Capitalizing on Webraska's global presence
in the automotive sector, which provides enhanced navigation, routing,
real-time traffic, m-commerce and other consumer applications, Riggs will be
addressing the needs of North American automotive OEM & aftermarket suppliers
utilizing Webraska's patented IbDN(R) technology for call center applications
and in-vehicle telematic linked navigation.
    Riggs received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics Engineering
from Michigan Technological University in 1982, in addition to training in
microprocessor programming and production process control.
