Sika Automotive Appoints James Sylvester Vice President of Operations for Grandview, Missouri Facility

    MADISON HEIGHTS, Mich., April 2 James Sylvester has joined
Sika Corporation as Vice President of Operations for their Grandview
Manufacturing Facility located in Grandview, Missouri near Kansas City.  He
will report to Robert Myers, Executive Senior Vice-President of Sika
Automotive.
    Mr. Sylvester brings with him a wealth of progressive experience and
strategic positions with prior employers including Plant General Manager for
USG Corporation (metal manufacturing), Vice President of Operations and MIS
for DAP, Inc. (manufacturer of caulking, sealants and adhesives), and most
recently as Senior Vice President of the Coshocton Group Floor Mat Division of
Lancaster Colony Automotive Group in Columbus, Ohio.  He will work with the
Grandview facility team to improve productivity, quality, on-time shipping,
safety and employee morale.
    Jim holds a BS/BA in Accounting and an MBA in Accounting from Youngstown
State University.
