Toyota Presents ``Value Improvement Award 2000'' To CTS
ELKHART, Ind.--March 30, 2001--CTS Corporation , a world leader in automotive position sensor technology, today announced that CTS Automotive Products, has received the Toyota "Value Improvement Award for 2000," from Toyota Motor Manufacturing North America (TMMNA). The award was presented to CTS at the 2001 TMMNA Annual Business Meeting & Awards ceremony held March 7 in Covington, Kentucky.Receipt of this prestigious award is based on supplier performance in meeting general and individual targets for design and manufacturing improvements that result in mutually beneficial cost savings. Overall supplier performance in all areas of business is additionally taken into consideration.

CTS Automotive Products received the 2000 award for the throttle position sensors supplied for use on the Camry, Solara and Avalon model automobiles and the Sienna minivan. CTS has now achieved the "Value Improvement Award" in three out of the last four years, which complements its overall business development strategy, including continual product and process improvements.
