OEConnection Announces Company Name and Management Team

    RICHFIELD, Ohio, March 29 The new on-line parts and
service venture created in December, 2000, by DaimlerChrysler ,
Ford Motor Company , General Motors and Bell & Howell ,
announced today the selection of OEConnection as the new company name.
    OEConnection will provide automotive franchise dealerships and their
wholesale customers a secure single source for their parts and service
business-to-business needs. http://www.OEConnection.com will improve the parts
specifying and ordering process between dealerships and their wholesale parts
customers.
    "We believe that the OEConnection name best communicates the focus of our
business.  Products offered by OEConnection will automate and integrate the
parts and service supply chain among the original equipment manufacturer, its
dealerships and each dealerships' wholesale customers facilitating the sale of
genuine OE parts," said Chuck Rotuno, President and CEO of OEConnection.  "Our
team is committed to radically improving the information flow between
dealerships and their wholesale customers."
    Prior to his role as President and CEO of OEConnection, Rotuno was the
Senior Vice President & General Manager, Bell & Howell Global Automotive.
Prior to joining Bell & Howell, Rotuno was Vice President, Business
Development at Rubbermaid, Incorporated.
    Also joining the OEConnection management team are:
    * Kevin Weidinger - Vice President, Sales & National Accounts.  Weidinger
      was formerly Vice President of National Accounts for Bell & Howell,
      Global Automotive.  Prior to his position at Bell & Howell, Weidinger
      was Director of Major Accounts for Automatic Data Processing (ADP)
      Employer Services Division.
    * Ken Satz - Vice President, Products and Marketing.  Satz was formerly
      Director of Product Management for Bell & Howell, Global Automotive.
      Prior to his role at Bell & Howell, Satz led the product development
      team for the Design Acoustics division of Audio-Technica.
    * Mike Reilly - Director of Marketing.  Reilly was formerly Director of
      Marketing for Bell & Howell, Powersports.  Reilly has held several
      influential leadership roles in Product Development, Marketing and
      National Accounts over 13 years at Bell & Howell.
    * Ron Aderhold - Vice President, Chief Information Officer.  Aderhold was
      formerly Director of eBusiness for Bell & Howell, Global Automotive.
      Aderhold came to Bell & Howell after serving as Senior Vice President of
      eCommerce for National City Bank.
    * Allan Dudek - Director of Web Systems.   Dudek was Director, Web
      Technologies at VIA Inc. prior to joining OEConnection.  Dudek was also
      an Assistant Vice President with National City Bank's web technologies
      group and a manager of the Multimedia group of CompuServe.
    * Jeff Comer - Chief Technology Officer.  Comer was formally Manager of
      Automotive eCommerce Development for Bell & Howell, Global Automotive.
      Comer joins OEConnection with over 12 years of experience in electronic
      parts catalog product development with Bell & Howell.
    * Paul Johnson - Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer.  Johnson
      was formerly Vice President of Human Resources and Corporate Services at
      Bell & Howell.  Johnson was previously Vice President, of Human
      Resources for KeyCorp.

    As previously announced, the new venture will be based in Northeast Ohio,
where development of the initial product, CollisionLink(TM) (patent pending),
has been based.  CollisionLink(TM) is the first in a series of Internet
technology products to be offered by OEConnection.
    OEConnection continues to test CollisionLink at automotive franchise
dealerships and independent body shop locations across the country, consistent
with implementation plans communicated when the new venture was formed.
OEConnection currently plans to make CollisionLink available during the 2nd
quarter of 2001.
