American Isuzu Motors Projects Best March Sales Performance

CERRITOS, Calif., March 29 American Isuzu Motors Inc.
expects March 2001 combined retail SUV sales will be the best March since
1994, an anticipated eleven percent increase over the March 2000 total. The
sales jump is largely credited to Isuzu's television and print advertising
featuring Joe Isuzu and the all-new 2002 Isuzu Axiom, along with other sales
programs.
"Isuzu public awareness is turning in the right direction, and this is
reflected in our floor traffic and sales," said Duke Hale, Senior Vice
President, COO, SUV, "Our March projections validate consumer enthusiasm for
the Isuzu brand and our full line of SUVs ... all of which are backed by a
10year/120,000 mile Limited Powertrain Warranty."
