John and Mike Coughlin are refocused and ready to return to battle in Las Vegas for the NHRA SummitRacing.com Nationals. The team has spent a considerable amount of time working on their new in-house engine program and they are starting to see some dividends. The yellow and black Jeg's S-10's will again join forces in an effort to win when they return to The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

"I am ready to get back in the seat and start racing again. It was hard to be at home last weekend. I kept in contact with the team by phone and talked to my brother (Mike) after every run he made in Houston," said John. "Family is my No. 1 priority and that is the same for everyone else involved with Team Jeg's. Staying home to help take care of my family during the race in Houston was the right thing to do. Now that everyone is back at 100%, I am ready to win some rounds in the Jeg's Chevy S-10."

"Now it looks like the tables are turned a little in our camp. My wife Kriss is due at anytime with our first child," added Mike.

Mike Coughlin is sitting in the No. 9 position with 84 points. He could realistically move as high as the No. 3 spot with a strong showing in Las Vegas. John Coughlin is ready to turn his season around and break back into the top ten, where his Jeg's Mail Order Chevy S-10 belongs.

"We have really made some moves in the right direction lately. We made some chassis changes that have really picked up the performance of our Chevy S-10. Everything responded well to the changes that were made," commented Mike. "I think that we are back on track and ready to return to our winning ways."

"I was excited to see the hard work pay off for Team Jeg's," said John. "The DNQ's that we had in Gainesville made us focus on the setup more. I am even more fired up to get back in the seat after seeing how my brother (Mike) did in Houston with no engine changes between races."
